* NOTE : The Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) must be in the form of a Cashier’s Check, Certified Check, or Money Order with no termination date or cancellation provision. Make the earnest money check payable as follows:
- For New York, New Jersey, and Ohio properties (in the Philadelphia HOC), make the EMD check or money order payable to the Selling Broker’s Escrow Account. (Use the company name, for example: ABC Realty Company Escrow Account.)
- For Florida properties (in the Atlanta HOC), make the EMD check or money order payable to either 1) the Selling Broker’s Escrow Account, or 2) the HUD Designated Closing Agent (Use the company name for the Closing Agent for your area, for example, XYZ Title Company.)

Addendum to the Sales Contract
Use the above addendum form to do the following:
Add/Remove a buyer to/from the sales contract – use wording “add (buyers name and ss#) to the sale contract” send addendum and copy of social security card(s)
Correct the the buyers name – use wording “Correct buyers name to (correction) on the sales contract” send addendum and copy of social security card(s)
Change financing – use wording “Change financing to (FHA 203K, 203B, conventional or cash) on the sales contract” send form and letter from the lender requesting the change
Increase the 203B repair escrow – use the wording “Increase the FHA 203B repair escrow to (amount) on the sales contract” send form, letter from the lender requesting this change and a breakdown of the repairs
Change from investor to owner occupant – use wording “Change from investor to owner occupant” - send form
